Updated: Aug 8, 2021

PanoGrama Entertainment is no stranger to working virtually considering that our flagship event is a virtual competition. In these times anything can be done online, including internships. As such, the team is proud to welcome its very first intern, Dana Malcolm. Based in Jamaica at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus Ms. Malcolm, a journalism student at CARIMAC, will be with PanoGrama until the end of April. Thus far, Ms. Malcolm has had a hand in drafting press releases and various pieces of writing for the team. According to her, the experience has been a “brilliant start to her career as a journalist.” She also says the internship was the “best introduction to the working world that she could have asked for” and that she was “honing skills and learning things that she hadn’t even known she needed”.

PanoGrama CEO Nevin Roach spoke about the addition of Ms. Malcolm to the team. He maintained that it was “ an honor to receive the opportunity to host a journalism student of the UWI, on an internship.” He said “Achievements like these give testament that PanoGrama is more than just a competition and we will continue to contribute to the holistic development of our youth however we can. Dana is a gem and a bright future is on the horizon for her.”

We wish Ms. Malcolm a productive and rewarding rest of her internship.
